CONGRATULATIONS to 8th Grader Ethan Garcia for winning 2nd Place at the Nevada State Spelling Bee -- which was held Saturday at Bishop Gorman High School!!
After a 3 hour match that started with 39 Spellers from around the state, the 2nd place finish came down to a truly nail biting 5 round spell off between Ethan and 7th Grader Pranav Kumar. Ethan took his place spelling the word "nicotinism".
